PEOPLE, YOU ROCK!

Thanks for visiting yesterday for Wordless Wednesday. I always appreciate the spike in traffic come Wednesday.

Well, last night I stayed up too late. We had a friend from Nova Scotia come for a visit (Hey Kevin!), and we were up playing Settlers (with The Great River piece) a couple of times, and watching LOST. Awesome episode! Hurley kicks butt at ping-pong, Sawyer appears to be human enough to interact with everyone, Locke is a total idiot again (blowing up yet another building), and also, we got a great look into the Dharma Initiative, the hostiles, and Saiyd's back story.
By far, I feel that Saiyd has the best and most intriguing back stories. Very cool character.

So, yet again there is a continuity error. I don't know what they want us to believe about the 'Others' prowess with weaponry. Earlier in the season, the Others couldn't put a bullet in the ocean while floating in a boat. Kate and Sawyer were running directly in front of them, and the shots were going wildly askew. Last night, the Russian seemed to be able to shoot, from close range. Maybe it's just guns they're inconsistent with...because they can take four people running in the middle of a field out with blow darts from like a hundred feet!
What Ms. Clue said to the guy in Russian was: "This is our chance to prove our marksmanship! Shoot me in the chest! Prove them wrong over at Brannigan's Law!!!"

I was so stoked to see all of those Dharma Initiative handbooks but knew right away that they would all end up burning. I mean, when have the writers given that much information for free? Check out the Official LOST Podcast, brought to you by Brannigan's Law!

This here's Dr. Evil. I mean the guy's a master with weapons. The Others should have gone to his" Dr.Evil's School for People Who Can't Shoot Good".

LOST - Hugo gets a Hugo

So, LOST last night saw Hurley get a car, and had special guest star(?) Cheech Marin mooch off of his son. Last night was pretty low on the probability factor (I can't believe I find any of LOST probable), especially the meteorite impact. Now I'm no meteorologist, but of all of the meteorite impacts I have personally been witness to, none of them could anyone have survived from 50 feet away. Collapsing fast food joints don't kill people.... meteorites kill people. That's a fact you can take to the bank.
Man I love Sawyer. Little House, Skeletor, and hooked on phonics. Awesome. Poor guy love's Kate, and from the look of the way he cradled that beer near the end, it seems that he's resolved to not pursue it. But seriously, who can win against a doctor/leader/surgeon in a race for a girl? Certainly not a porn stashing, possessive con artist. (Unless he 'cons' her into thinking he's a doctor....hmm)

Millions of pregnant women watched last night and threw objects at their television sets when they saw how skinny Sun still was while being 'pregnant'. It will be a good day for Circuit City and Best Buy.

So LOST was good. I'm glad that it was a lighter episode. Odd, eh? All of the 'lighter' episodes are about Hugo. Hmm.

Time for three things you didn't have to know about me:

1. Last night I had a nap before LOST because it was on so late. I work early so I needed sleep. My wife woke me up at 11:00pm to watch the show. She's great.

2. I weigh 241 lbs. I weighed 246 last week. Let's hope that my pants fit better over the next little while. I don't want to buy more. (I'm 6'4" so the weight is spread over a lot of acreage).

3. Follow this link to get #3.

LOST

LOST is back baby! Wow, and what an episode that was!!! Kudos to the writers including Damon Lindelof, and Carlton Cuse. Speaking of these guys, check out this incredible interview at ew.com! There is also the ABC Official LOST Podcast that you can find here.

I think that Thursday will become LOST day on this blog. I'll post a few ideas, and things to get your mind going on all things LOST. This will be great...assuming that you like the show.

'LOST TIME'. This is the anagram that was mentioned in an interview with the LOST creative team that appeared in last night's episode via the name of the bioscience company that was recruiting her.

"Juliet was recruited under false pretenses to Mittelos Bioscience. Mittelos is an anagram for "Lost Time". Time can be lost, an interesting theory -- like when the sky turns purple. It will be interesting to see where the show goes with that.

Mittelos also reminds of Mittelwerk - he was the psychopath who usurped control of the Hanso Foundation for evil purposes in the Lost Experience game. Now Juliet's company is named for him." - - Some guy's Blog, Feb 07.

Very interesting. I think this is a lead into how the resolution of the show will come about. I read that we'll learn a lot more about the Hanso Foundation, DHARMA, and the rest in the next couple of years.

The EW article has a lot in it, so enjoy. Hopefully the LOST juices will be running through your brains!

TOMORROW: Look for the first pictures of my nephew Reeve, in his Brannigan's Law debut!
